Our Mission to Give Back
Super Binz is more than just a liquidation store; we are a company that stands for compassion, generosity, and meaningful change. That’s why we proudly support Terre d’Abondance, a non-profit organization and orphanage in Benin, West Africa, founded in 2020 by one of Super Binz’s own founders, Gregory van Duyse.
A Different Kind of Orphanage
Unlike traditional orphanages, Terre d’Abondance is built around a family-based model. Instead of housing children in large institutions, the orphanage places them in loving family units with a mother, father, brothers, and sisters.
This unique approach provides the stability, emotional support, and nurturing environment that children need to heal from trauma, develop securely, and thrive.
Research has shown that children raised in a family environment develop stronger emotional bonds, greater self-confidence, and essential life skills. Terre d’Abondance is the only orphanage of its kind in Benin, setting a new standard for child welfare in the region.
